Covid 19 statement

Habitat Homecare is closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation and we are following the frequently updated guidance and advice from our Local Authority, University Health Board & wider Government partners. We will consistently remain fully operational and have put in place a number of activities to decrease the risks associated with the delivery of care & support by our Care Team in line with the guidance we have been issued with from our partners above, this includes;

  • Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in the completing.
  • Strict adherence to all hygiene practices and following guidance about increased hygiene implemented throughout our Care Team.
  • All Care Team members have been given information to help them identify symptoms that might be expected if someone contracts the virus.
  • All Care Team members have also been advised of the steps to be carried out if either they, a household member, or someone they have been in close contact with, contracts the virus or has been advised to self-isolate.
  • Additional training has been, and is being, carried out across the business to ensure we are able to continue critical, core activities.

While this situation continues we are actively reviewing contingencies to ensure we remain prepared and if anything causes us to make any significant changes to the delivery of care & support we will ensure all parties are communicated with.

We will keep you informed. Should you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our Office Team for further information.
