Habitat Heroes for October 2021

We understand that a lot of what Carers do daily is challenging however hugely rewarding. Carers are vital in supporting those individuals most vulnerable in society.

Our ‘Carer of the Month’ initiative helps us to recognise those who’ve gone that extra mile. They go above & beyond what’s expected and expertly delivered professional, person-centred & outcome focused care.

Caring isn’t easy, but everyone who works within these roles genuinely has a passion to enhance someone’s life!

We are delighted to announce that our Habitat Heroes for October – ‘Carer of the Month’ goes to Susan Wilks & Trudie Williams.

Both Susan & Trudie are incredibly passionate about being a carer. Susan & Trudie were new to the sector before joining the Habitat Homecare Team. They display all the relevant behaviours and competencies needed to be “Amazing Carers’.

They are hard-working and always put their clients’ needs and requirements ahead of their own, in supporting them to meet their required outcomes.

Both Susan & Trudie can deal with every situation they face, have risen to the challenges of the last 18 months & thrive on the satisfaction the job gives them.
